A special single plantation offering from Michel Cluizel. The beans are selected from a plantation in the valley of Barlovento, east of Caracas, for the exceptional quality of its Caranero cocoa beans which are prepared in using the same method since 1902. This chocolate gradually unfolds hints of vanilla, honey spice cake and caramel with a remarkable lingering aroma. Oh, and my Mum's favourite!

Located on the Island of São Tomé, on the equator off the coast of central Africa, one finds the Plantation Hacienda Villa Gracinda. The chocolate produced here, born from a volcanic and marine soil, reveals toasted, spicy and herbaceous notes with flavours of ripe tropical fruits and liquorice sticks.

The lowest cocoa content version of Cluizel’s popular blend, with a cool sweetness strongly dominated by the Bourbon vanilla. Very palatable and very enjoyable. This chocolate is a great all rounder; neither too bitter nor too sweet. 60% cocoa solids.
