Winter Delights Food & Wine Festival

The winter sun was shining beautifully, the jazz band was playing and (importantly) the outdoor heaters were keeping us toasty as Cocoa Kiss joined a group of fantastic food and wine businesses sharing their delicious wares at the inagural Winter Delights Food & Wine Festival at Rippon Lea Estate.

A stunning day, location and atmosphere - and of course the free samples went down rather well too! Including one ten year old who challeneged me on how dark I could go - he looked very satisfied with Michel Cluizel Grand Noir 85%.  I wish I had some Michel Cluizel 99% on me for his young palate to sample.

But it wasn't just about the samples, it was great to have so many people engaged with chocolate - the history, production and quality as person after person lingered to chat, learn and share.  This is what I love about my business!

The most popular chocolates sold on the day:

  • Valrhona Jivara 40%
  • Michel Cluizel Concepcion 66%
  • Valrhona Guanaja 70%
  • Amedei Jamaica 70%.

Oh, and then of course there is the wickedly mooring gianduja that more than a few found hard to pass up, including myself and my two helpers.  (Coming to the website very shortly.)

And if you missed out, keep an eye out for our next festival or buy online from us now for delivery anywhere in Australia.
